Little Walderlea is a 3-bedroom self-catering cottage in the very popular Babbacombe village of Torquay, south Devon. With private patio area, private parking for two cars, walk access to Oddicombe and Babbacombe beach, award winning restaurants, pubs, and large grassed Babbacombe Downs for children and adults alike to walk, fishing and relax while enjoying the sea view.
Being a two storey cottage wing that forms part of a detached Voctorian Villa, Little Walderlea is ideally located bewteen the peaceful leafy Cary Park and Tessier Gardens, in the heart of the conservation area. Only 2 minutes level walk to the village centre with a good selection of local shops, banks and post office. Chilren's playground, tennis court and indoor swimming pool are all within 2-10 minutes walk.
The popular area of Babbacombe has beautiful beaches, a famous funicular railway, the model village and a theatre. The main centre of Torquay is only 5 minutes drive away, or via regular bus service runs down to the harbourside, and to the old characteristic Cockington village. Dartmoor National Park, Teignmouth and the famous market town Newton Abbot are just 10 miles away, where you can enjoy walking, surfing, Golfing, Bowling, shopping and of course eating.
At the ground floor of the well maintained and equipped cottage, it comprises of kitchen and dinning area, spacious lounge with recliner leather sofa and TV, showerroom and separate toilet.

Main bedroon: kingsize bed, bedside chest, chest of drawers, wardrobe, LCD TV, toilet room, washing basin
2nd bedroom: double bed, dressing table, wardrobe, washing basin, nest of tables
3rd bedroom: bunkbed, chest of drawer, wardrobe, washing basin
Bathroom: bath, basin and low level toilet.
Sleeps 6.
There is a private side patio area with garden table and chairs, suitable for BBQ. Little Walderlea is ideal for families or couples looking for a quiet and convenient location to stay at the appealing Babbacome area in Torquay whilst visiting the local area.
No pets. No smoking.

Perhaps the most well known resort on South Devon’s ‘English Riviera’, Torquay has long been popular with visitors attracted by the temperate climate of the region. The town’s name originates from the quay of the village of Torre.
One of the larger towns in Devon, Torquay, combined with its Torbay neighbours such as Paignton and Brixham attracts up to 200,000 visitors during the summer months. The fishing industry was originally the town’s main source of income, but it developed into a very popular and fashionable seaside resort during the 19th century.
Probably Torquay’s most famous inhabitant was the well known novelist Agatha Christie who spent much of her life here, but it is also notable as being the setting for the TV comedy series ‘Fawlty Towers’, set in a fictitious Torquay hotel.
As well as many shops, the harbour and seafront, Torquay also has several tourist attractions including Kents Cavern, Babbacombe Model Village and the Living Coasts arm of Paignton Zoo.
Torquay has excellent transport facilities including two railway stations, and good road and bus access connecting it to main routes throughout the South West. With a wide range of accommodation available, including hotels, guest-houses, B&Bs and self-catering, there is something to suit everyone.
